About St. Mary Hoo

Stable Cottages are located in the secluded hamlet of St. Mary Hoo on the Hoo Peninsula. Nestled in acres of farmland and overlooking the Thames Estuary, the scenery in this tiny village is beautiful all year round so walking is a must during your stay here.

There is lots of wildlife to be spotted here in St. Mary Hoo. We have one of the best locations for bird watching in Kent and Europe's largest Heronry can be found in the nearby village of High Halstow.

Great walks in and around St. Mary Hoo include the Thames sea wall and Saxon Shore Way. Look out for the array of wildlife on route - from hares and badgers to egrets.
